Regulatory considerations for a vertical closed loop geothermal system:
- New MDEQ regulations are being made that may impact the expense and permitting of this system.
- A 40 hour heat conductivity test is suggested for this system if the size is greater than 40 tons. The test will be used to design the size of the system.
