Alan Hooper, CEO | Principal Geologist
CEO, Principal Geologist TriterraAlan's knowledge and expertise in environmental consulting, project management, and site redevelopment spans more than 16 years. Presently, Alan serves as CEO and Principal Geologist with the firm. In addition to being a Certified Professional Geologist and a Certified Underground Storage Tank Professional, Alan builds client relationships by identifying solutions for environmentally impaired real estate. He merge's the firm's knowledge and experience with cost-effective and innovative remedial technologies with ongoing knowledge of grants, reimbursement programs, and financial incentives. In addition, Alan keeps projects progressing by making connections within the firm's network of potential partners and investors.
As a leader in the brownfield redevelopment and green building movement, Alan has not only helped numerous clients complete brownfield redevelopment projects, but has also purchased and redeveloped brownfield properties as an owner. His willingness to put himself in the client's shoes" has allowed him to develop a greater understanding of client needs. This personal experience ensures that our clients receive advice from someone who shares their perspective and cares about their goals. Additionally, Alan has sought and obtained grants, loans, tax increment financing agreements, tax credits, property tax abatements, and other incentives for our clients.
