Gary Dannemiller, Hydrologist
Hydrologist TriterraGary has over thirty five years of experience with water in the areas of surface and groundwater hydrology in the private and public sector. His past experience in consulting, teaching, research, regional water planning, groundwater remediation, and enforcement give him a diverse background that is used to solve difficult environmental water problems including new issues such as geothermal energy. He has been employed in the private consulting sector in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan; and also in the public sector with the US EPA managing the RCRA program throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Louisiana. While with the USGS, as a geochemist, he performed a Regional Aquifer System Analysis Study on the Michigan Basin.
He is an Adjunct Professor at Lansing Community College where he teaches GIS Hydrology, GIS Natural Resource Management, Geothermal Systems, Alternative Energy Audits, and Landscape Ecology courses. He is a registered professional geologist in five states and is a member of the American Association of Professional Geologists where he was the past Michigan Chapter President.
