Caitlin Preuss

Environmental Scientist

What I do at Triterra:
My work focuses on Environmental Due Diligence Services. I conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Phase II ESA subsurface investigations. My job is to help clients understand potential environmental risks associated with properties through historical documents, subsurface investigations, and data evaluation.

Why I love it here:
Triterra encourages you to never stop learning and has the best people to work with!

Background and Education:
My love for natural resources and the environment started when I joined my local Future Farmers of America chapter my freshman year of high school. This led me to Michigan State University, and in 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. Additionally, I took courses related to water resource management, natural resource law, and ecology in hopes to pursue a career in the natural resource field.

What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
I love spending time with my husband and golden retriever named Paisley. On the weekends you can find me traveling to the great lakes, heading up north to the Michigan wineries, and going to Michigan State University athletic events.
