Ashton Maurer-Wagner
Industrial Hygienist
What I do at Triterra:
As part of the industrial hygiene group at Triterra, I conduct inspections and surveys for hazardous materials, including asbestos, mold, and lead, and ensure any abatement is performed within regulatory standards.
Why I love it here:
I love working at Triterra because of the staff and culture. Everyone is willing to lend a hand when needed and understands the company’s common goals, all while working to improve the environment and surrounding communities.
Background and Education:
I was born and raised in Ludington, MI, and moved to southwest Michigan in 2014, where I graduated high school and started work in the restaurant industry. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in April 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management. In 2024, I began work in a recycling facility, assisting customers and helping the community understand the recycling process. I joined the team at Triterra in 2026.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
While away from work, I enjoy being outdoors on hikes and fishing, taking care of my houseplants, playing video games, and spending time with loved ones.
