Corbin Pew
Industrial Hygienist
What I do at Triterra:
I am a member of the Industrial Hygiene group here at Triterra. As part of the Industrial Hygiene services team, I am responsible for identifying, evaluating, and controlling environmental hazards in the workplace to protect worker health and safety, including conducting pre-reno/demo hazardous materials assessment, indoor air quality assessment, lead hazard risk assessments, abatement oversight, and demolition oversight. I aim to prevent workplace illnesses, injuries, and exposures before they happen.
Why I love it here:
I enjoy working for Triterra because of the supportive and collaborative environment where my contributions are valued. The opportunities for growth and the positive team culture make every day rewarding and motivating.
Background and Education:
I am originally from a small town in Indiana. I attended Ball State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. I spent the first 2 years of my career with an environmental consultant company in Indiana, performing due diligence work, underground storage tank removal, and large-scale excavations, before moving to Michigan with my fiancé. I then spent the next year learning the ins and outs of industrial hygiene before starting with Triterra.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
When I am not at work, I enjoy golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my fiancé and our two dogs, Nellie and Maggie.
