Jessica Meister
Environmental Scientist
What I do at Triterra:
I am part of both the Natural Resources and Due Diligence teams at Triterra. I enjoy assisting clients with identifying and understanding environmental risks associated with commercial property. I also complete various natural resource investigations such as routine wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species assessments, and perform surface water, stormwater, sediment, and soil sampling and characterization.
Why I love it here:
Triterra has a great work atmosphere because everybody is willing and happy to support each other on projects. I enjoy the wide variety of projects I get to work on every week, and how this company supports my professional goals.
Background and Education:
I’m from the Chicago suburbs and enjoyed volunteering in Cook County Park which led to my passion for conservation. During my time in college, I became more active in environmental outreach through the Michigan State University (MSU) Fisheries and Wildlife Club. I graduated in May 2023 from MSU with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife and in Zoology.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
While I’m not at Triterra, I enjoy running outside, reading a good book, playing soccer with friends, and occasionally taking trips back to Chicago!
