Jim Lockwood

Civil Engineering & Remediation Design

What I do at Triterra:
I provide civil engineering and remediation design for commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential projects.  I also provide technical support for due diligence, remediation, and environmental investigation reports.

Why I love it here:
The Triterra team is a cohesive and competent group of environmental professionals.  They are innovative, responsive, and client-centered… not to mention fun to be around!

Background and Education:
I began my career working for a Civil Engineering and Environmental firm in 1995.  I developed skills in municipal civil engineering and land development consulting, including utility & infrastructure design, highway design, stormwater management, and erosion control planning.  I also supported wastewater, wellhead protection programs, environmental, electrical, and structural projects. Since that time, I have developed expertise in land development design, environmental remediation design, soil management planning, and large-scale construction support.  I have supported permitting and funding efforts on the state, county, and local levels throughout Michigan.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership from Cornerstone University.

What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
I enjoy spending time with my family and working around the house and rooting for University of Michigan athletics.
