Kathleen Christnagel
Industrial Hygienist
What I do at Triterra:
I am a member of the Industrial Hygiene group here at Triterra. I conduct hazardous material surveys to identify the presence of asbestos and lead within building materials. I conduct on-site air monitoring during asbestos abatement jobs to ensure worker safety and ensure that rules and regulations are being followed.
Why I love it here:
Triterra offered me guidance when entering the job world after college. The significance of their family atmosphere stood out while they met with me to discuss what the field of environmental consulting entailed. Now, as a new addition to Triterra, I get to work in a driven environment pushing me to continue to learn surrounded by fantastic people.
Background and Education:
I attended Alma College and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in December 2021. I was a research assistant in the Environmental Science department. My main research focus was on Environmental Toxicology. I started at Triterra in January 2022.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
When I am not at work, I love spending time outdoors and traveling to new places. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my wonderful rescue critters.
