Casey Heath
Environmental Scientist
What I do at Triterra:
Here at Triterra, I work on an array of different projects. There are times I am working with a team to install a vapor mitigation system, other times I am writing reports on findings from Phase I or Phase II assessments with the Due Diligence team. Then there are times I am working as site overwatch to ensure tasks on construction sites are being performed according to plan.
Why I love it here:
What I enjoy about being a member of the Triterra team is the wide range of projects that bring their own challenges that require out-of-the-box thinking, while making a positive change in the communities we work in. The teamwork at Triterra while working to complete projects is the most rewarding aspect of the job, especially when a project is completed and the finished product is functional and serves the people.
Background and Education:
I come to Triterra with over a decade of leadership, and construction experience gained from my service as an engineer in the United States Marine Corps. Through my experiences with state agencies working as a surveyor and geotechnical fabrics technician, I also bring a knowledge base of testing standards, and various datums used by state agencies. I graduated from Michigan State University with the class of 2023 with a bachelor’s in environmental sciences, and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
When not at work I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and road trips to our family cabin up north with my spouse. Some of my hobbies are reading, listening to records, hunting, and woodworking.
