What I do at Triterra:
I am the Director of Industrial Hygiene Services at Triterra and work out of the Grand Rapids, Michigan office. I oversee the overall industrial hygiene projects and services that Triterra offers to our clients, and I ensure that work is performed in compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies’ requirements. I work with construction managers, construction trades, facility owners, and building developers to determine what hazardous material testing is required prior to demolition/renovation as well as provide budgeting and directions on hazardous material remediation projects. I work with clients on projects ranging from small, single-family dwelling demolitions to multi-million-dollar facility decommissioning projects. I have worked within multi-family, commercial, nuclear, higher education, K-12 schools, and healthcare sectors as well as the General Services Administration (GSA) federal sector.

Background and Education:
I was born in Los Angeles, California but moved to West Michigan when I was 3 years old to be closer to family. I was raised in a small northern Michigan town that only had one blinking light in town. I enrolled at Ferris State University right out of high school and transferred to Central Michigan University after meeting my fiancé. Best decision ever! I graduated from Central Michigan University with my Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a focus on environmental health and safety. I spent the next 10 years of my career focusing on the ins and outs of industrial hygiene and employee exposure monitoring.
What I love to do when I’m not at Triterra:
Golfing with my fiancé, traveling to different countries, and spending time with my two Goldendoodles, Leo & Auggie.
